Things you should consider when hiring a mover

When selecting a reputable mover remember to get the bid in writing. The mover should meet you at your home to determine the projected price with a visual survey.

With State to State moves, a tariff must be filed with the government and pricing is based on weight, distance traveled and any special services the company may provide.

You should never pay for services prior to the delivery. And the mover should allow you to verify weight at the weight station.
